Academic and Research Contributions
Dr. Karaoglan researched the protective effects of resveratrol. This study investigated how the compound affects vasospasm – the narrowing of blood vessels – after subarachnoid hemorrhage. Both his 2005 award and subsequent scientific work center on this research. He participated in the XV, XVI, and XVIII Turkish Neurosurgical Society Scientific Congresses between 2001 and 2004.
