    Prof. Abuzer Dirican is a Professor of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology and Head of Department at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. He completed his general surgery training at SSK Ankara in 2000. He served at İnönü University’s Liver Transplant Institute and became a professor in 2017. He also completed a clinical and research fellowship in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.

    He authored the Liver Transplantation chapter in Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery in 2016. His publications cover cholangiocarcinoma, liver transplantation, endocrine surgery, and colorectal surgery. Notable work includes a prospective randomized trial on pilonidal disease and studies on breast cancer–related lymphedema. He also co-authored analyses of 304 living-donor liver transplants and 109 hepatic vein reconstructions.

Je ne saurais trop recommander Aliser et le niveau de soutien que nous avons reçu - surtout dans des circonstances si difficiles
Je recommande vivement l'Hôpital Florence Nightingale à quiconque s'apprête à entreprendre un parcours médical. Pour nous, tout est arrivé si soudainement. Dès que nous avons téléchargé les documents et fait notre demande sur Bookimed, Aliser, en tant que Coordinateur International, a été immédiatement présent pour nous soutenir - avec une attention incroyable et beaucoup de compassion. Il a été à l'écoute de nos besoins et, à tout moment, a pris des appels sur WhatsApp pour répondre à nos questions et est allé au-delà pour nous fournir les informations dont nous avions besoin. Nous naviguions à travers des problèmes de décalage horaire significatifs (situés à Hong Kong, tandis que le patient, mon beau-père, était en Albanie) mais nous n’en avons pas ressenti le fardeau. Nous avions beaucoup de besoins spécifiques qui ont été satisfaits, y compris un appel vidéo avec le Professeur Yildiray Yuzer, pour répondre directement à nos questions. Nous n'étions pas les patients les plus faciles avec beaucoup de réassurance nécessaire, mais Aliser a su se mettre à la place du patient et être de notre côté pour nous aider. Nous avons été extrêmement satisfaits du niveau de soutien que nous avons reçu - surtout en comparaison avec d'autres hôpitaux d'Istanbul. Je ne saurais trop recommander Aliser et le niveau de soutien que nous avons reçu, surtout dans des circonstances si difficiles. Une fois arrivés à Istanbul, nous avons apprécié d'être accueillis avec un transfert, et des recommandations ont été faites pour notre hébergement afin de nous assurer d'être à l'aise. Tout au long de nos consultations, nous avons vraiment senti que l'équipe de Florence était sincère - mettant la santé du patient en priorité, avant le profit, ce que nous avons grandement apprécié. Pendant notre séjour à l'hôpital, nous avons également été impressionnés par la compassion des infirmières et du personnel d'assistance dans notre service. Quelque chose qui était si difficile a été ponctué tout au long de nombreux moments de chaleur et de soutien. De plus, les installations, les chambres d’hôpital et la propreté et l’hygiène à Florence étaient fantastiques, nous n’aurions pu souhaiter un meilleur séjour. Plus important encore, nous avons été rassurés par l'expérience et l'expertise du Professeur Yuzer et de son équipe. Tout patient peut avoir confiance qu'il est entre des mains expertes. Il est également réconfortant de voir que ces compétences sont soutenues par une véritable empathie pour le patient. En fin de compte, la procédure a été un succès (nous espérons que cette issue positive en matière de santé se poursuivra !). Cela semble irréel d'avoir entrepris ce voyage, cependant, je suis extrêmement satisfait du service, du soutien et de l'expertise de l'hôpital. Il n’y a rien que je puisse imaginer pour améliorer !

- L'équipe médicale, en particulier les médecins et les traducteurs, était très compétente et accommodante, dépassant largement mes attentes. - Le traducteur et le personnel médical ont répondu rapidement et efficacement à toutes mes préoccupations. - Les installations étaient de premier ordre et très propres. - Le seul point que je souhaiterais voir amélioré concerne quelques infirmières qui ne maîtrisent pas l'anglais de base.
- Le personnel a véritablement pris en considération mes préoccupations personnelles et a répondu à mes attentes. - Les installations étaient très propres et de bonne qualité.
- Seulement le manque de maîtrise de l'anglais chez certaines infirmières.

Le moment le plus précieux a été le temps que le chef de l'équipe de transplantation, le professeur (Hoca) Yildiray Yuzer, a passé avec moi pour fournir des explications complètes et compréhensibles aux nombreuses questions que j'avais en tant que patient encore au début de sa période de convalescence
