J'ai planifié le voyage moi-même, en achetant de la publicité, et je suis venu spécialement d'un autre pays. Il y avait peu de patients, mais le service était très lent : j'attendais une heure dans chaque cabinet. Je suis entré à 10h, je suis parti à 16h30, j'avais rendez-vous avec les médecins à l'avance + je me suis adapté à leur emploi du temps en raison de leurs déplacements. Le service est dégueulasse, le personnel est indifférent et j'ai dû élever la voix plusieurs fois pour attirer l'attention. J'ai payé plus de 1 000 $ pour attendre des heures (!) et je suis reparti avec des sentiments mitigés.

J'ai vécu une expérience extrêmement frustrante à l'hôpital. Aucun membre du personnel ne parlait anglais, ce qui rendait pratiquement impossible la communication de mes préoccupations et de mes questions. Pour ne rien arranger, l'hôpital a refusé d'accepter les paiements par carte et a préféré fournir les coordonnées de paiement d'un tiers, ce qui m'a mis la puce à l'oreille sur le plan financier.
Pour ne rien arranger, on m'a demandé de verser un acompte de 200 dollars en espèces, dont j'ai appris par la suite qu'il n'était pas remboursable. C'est tout à fait injuste et inacceptable. Je me suis sentie en détresse financière et émotionnelle, et je ne recommanderais cet hôpital à personne. Une communication claire et des pratiques de paiement équitables sont des aspects fondamentaux de tout établissement de soins de santé, et cet hôpital a lamentablement échoué dans ces deux domaines.
Outre les problèmes de communication et de paiement, je dois mentionner que l'hôpital était situé dans une zone totalement inadaptée aux touristes. Cela a rendu l'expérience globale encore plus pénible. Les visiteurs d'un pays étranger s'attendent à ce que les établissements médicaux soient accessibles et accueillants, mais cet hôpital était situé à un endroit qui le rendait extrêmement incommode et inconfortable pour les voyageurs. Il s'agit d'un facteur important à prendre en compte pour tous ceux qui prévoient de visiter la région et qui ont besoin de soins médicaux.
