had a traumatizing and deeply unprofessional experience at this clinic in May during a visit to Bangkok. I made an appointment for a specific review — which the staff confirmed in advance — but when I arrived, they quickly changed the plan without my consent.
I was led into a room, asked to undress, and left completely naked on the bed, where multiple staff entered and began a different assessment. I felt coerced and trapped, with no privacy or opportunity to say no. In that vulnerable moment, they pressured me into a procedure I never came for and charged me over $5,000, far above standard Bangkok rates.
Afterward, I received no post-care instructions. I developed a serious infection and had to seek treatment from a gynecologist. When I reached out to the clinic for help, they were dismissive and offered no support.
To make matters worse, they took photos of my intimate parts without my consent — and I later discovered they had posted those images online. This is an outrageous violation of privacy, ethics, and human decency.
They also lied about their location, claiming they were 15 minutes from my hotel — it took over an hour in traffic. After the procedure, I wasn’t even allowed to use their restroom and was told to go outside to a public toilet. I can’t help but feel that I was treated this way because I’m a Black American woman. The entire experience felt racially discriminatory, exploitative, and dehumanizing.
I’ve filed a dispute with my credit card company and am exploring legal options.
This clinic is unsafe, unethical, and should be avoided — especially by women of color.
