In 2024 I requested a consultation with Odhran McNicholl to discuss crown replacements and some cosmetic work.
My smile you could say was lacking and frankly so was my confidence.
Odhran made an assessment and gave me a report of the work required to gain best results on a 3 option approach plus the relative costs for each option and the timeframe from start to finish.
I was genuinely interested but the one thing that held me back was anxiety about the crown preparation as I had bad experiences in the past . Despite Odhran’s assurances that I wouldn’t feel any pain I had cold feet and pulled out …
After a week of reflection I spoke with Odhran again and decided to go- ahead.
The appointments were planned out over a 4- month period.
I used the whitening procedure for about a month, to get to a level I was happy with and then the crown preparation appointment took place . Odhran did state I wouldn’t feel anything and after 4 hours in the “chair” I can honestly say I didn’t feel any discomfort.
Fast forward to Dental work completion and I must say I am delighted with the result.
Odhran is the consummate professional in his approach and supported by the attentive dental nurses. He managed my expectations perfectly. This In itself gave me confidence and a trust that I was in safe hands.
I now smile a lot more and my confidence has definitely increased.. it’s been quite transformational. I
