Like LASIK and other types of laser eye surgery, PRK works by reshaping thecornea using an excimer laser, allowing light entering the eye to be properly focused onto the retina for clearvision.SMILE is considered the most significant advance in laser eye surgery technology in over 10 years. It's part of the surgery tofix cataracts.Monofocal IOL: This is the most common. Unlike your natural lens, which can stretch or bend to helpyour eye focus, this implant stays focused at one fixed distance. It could take several months for your brain to adapt so your vision seems natural.Accommodating IOL: This flexible option acts more like your natural lens and focuses at more than onedistance. It makes you less likely to need reading glasses.- More than 200 Vitrectomy SurgeryVitrectomy is a type of eye surgery used to treat problems of the eye’s retina and vitreous.
